Katonah Yoga® Cossack Flow with Clare Lim Martin

We switch out traditional vinyasa flows for the cossack squat, a lower body mobility movement. This is great for those who need to be in their lower body, establish stability. As Nevine says, ‘Form informs flow, flow deepens form.’ So we take frequently explored postures within Katonah Yoga and weave them together, layer by layer, and find joy in flow. props needed: block Contraindications: Avoid doing this session if you have anything going on in your lower back or knees… Or, take some time at the beginning to set yourself up well with blocks, so you can move with ease.
