High bridge rotation with wall with Clare Lim Martin and Aaron Martin - 15 minutes class. We take a dynamic movement approach to traveling in and out of the wheel here - perfect for practitioners looking to build better mobility across all 3 levels of the body. We explore the concept of ‘forever transitioning’ as opposed to getting into the pose, staying in the pose, then getting out of the pose. A quick clarification on movement languages/dialects: we created this class as part of our Soft Acrobatics and Mobility series on sharedspace’s Movement Archive, hence the different terminology - within Soft Acrobatics, we call a Dhanurasana, a Wheel pose, a ‘High Bridge’, as an ‘island’ for one to arrive at and depart from, when exploring rolls and flips. Aside from the High Bridge, there is also a Low Bridge, a movement that we explore in other sessions. props needed: wall space
