+ Do you offer in person classes?

All of our classes, workshops and trainings are in person in our beautiful studio at 39 Main Street in Bedford Hills, NY.

+ Do you offer online classes or recording of classes?

All classes are in-person at our studio in Bedford Hills,. We do not have hybrid or online classes currently. For a libaray of online Katonah Yoga® classes please visit Katonah Yoga Center’s Video Library.

+ What do I need to bring to class?

Just yourself! Dress to move and be comfortalbe. We have plenty of clean mats and props for you to use, free of charge.

+ Are there different class levels?

Unless otherwise noted, all of our classes are “all level” classes. Our certified teachers guide all students to experience every class. We find this diversity creates a passionate and nurturing learning environment for beginners and advanced students alike.

+ What is Katonah Yoga®?

Katonah Yoga is a technique founded by Nevine Michaan. It is a technique, not a type of yoga. Framing the practice, maps of time and personal space are defined and refined. Themes using asana as origami, manipulating form for function, and developing a sense of personal measure are incorporated in Katonah Yoga practices. It is inclusive and informative.

+ Do you have guest teachers or special events?

We frequently have certified Katonah Yoga teachers from all over the globe teach special classes, workshops and trainings. For programming that is less than 5 hours, you can find the schedule on our website here. For programming that is 5 hours or more, you can find the schedule on Katonah Yoga Center’s website here.

+ Do you sell props or Katonah Yoga product in studio?

We do not currently sell props. We do have a small inventory of Katonah Yoga products available including some manuals, kits, apparel and totes. Please reach out to info@katonahyogacollective.com if you have specific questions about this.

+ How do I become Katonah Yoga® certified?

+ May I reprint any of the images, maps, and other materials featured in the library or on the website?

Yes, Katonah Yoga is open source. The Katonah Yoga material is available for those who may want to use, make a copy or repost. Except for commercial use, you may reproduce the material and protect the copyright by giving proper credit, using the registration symbol ®, and providing live links from your page to Katonah Yoga Center’s website. Please read the section on copyright and trademark usage here.
